Japanese Grilled Avocados

A SortedFood recipe  -WOW -  a quick and tasty kind of lunch and if you love Avocado, that is your next favorite dish.

Japanese grilled Avocados
Since Avocados are some of my most loved kinds of food, I saw the recipe online and was sure to make it soon. Having some medium ripe Avocados in the veggie drawer of my fridge already, it was just so easy to prepare it.

I changed a few recipe details, because the soy sauce was to intense for my taste.

1 tsp miso paste
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
80 ml clementine juice
3 tbsp sake
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp mirin
2 tbsp sake
100 ml soy sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
2 avocados - not too ripe
some parsley
ingredients

100 g Japanese short grain rice
1 wedge of lime
1 tsp salt

Precooked duck breast cold

Bring the rice to a boil

Bring the ingredients from miso down to lime juice to a boil and reduce it by half.
Half the avocados and brush them with some of the liquid.
Use a smoking hot griddle pan and grill them for a couple of minutes until they have dark grill marks, then turn them 90 degrees and grill again.

Put them on a plate face up and fill some liquid into the hole in the middle.
Serve with the rice and the duck and enjoy!

Thank you, Sorted Boys for that incredible recipe.
