I do not know you loves to eat that chocolate covered marshmallow fluff on wafers. Here in Germany we all eat them since we were young. They were something special durjng my childhood, some bakeries sold them or you could get them on a fair. Nowadays since Dickmann`s made them on a large scale, they are sold year round in every supermarket. Even the Discounters sell their own brands.
Besides eating them as they are, there are lots of recipes using them in cakes and desserts.
I was on a birthday party last night and my friend made this recipe.
Recipe for 6:
250 g low fat curd
200 g double cream
1 tbsp lemon juice
9 Dickmann´s
1 small can of mandarines drained
Get the wafer off all 9 Dickmann´s and set them aside .
Beat the double cream to soft peaks and mix it with the curd.
chop the well drained mandarines in small chunks.
Mash the fluffy mass and fold it into the cream mix.
Fold in the mandarines and taste it. If too sweet add a bit of lemon juice.
Fill into indiviual portion glass and decorate with a wafer on top.
Stick in the fridge for 2 hours.
