Saturday morning breakfast to fight off the rainy cold day.
A day old roll and day old croissant are not going to waste. This dish is something found everywhere where people have old bread. Best done with sweet breads, like Brioche.
A good way to use them is a formidable breakfast. Soaking in egg, milk, sugar and cinnamon for a while is easy. In a pan full of butter baked until golden brown.
A good dose of maple syrup is the finish.
