It is still very rare to go out to eat with friends in a restaurant. My friend celebrated her birthday today and invited me and an other friend to go with her and her husband to a restaurant in Lower Franconia, Bavaria. It was a 50 minute drive for me. We ate at Weinhaus Becker in Grossostheim.
We have a late summer day today with 23 C and sunshine. All tables were set outside in the large back yard. It was beautiful to sit there and it was very packed outside. It took a while for the service to bring the drinks to the table and it took a lot longer for our food.
The monthly special was all kinds of dishes with chanterelle mushrooms.
Pork Loin with Chanterelles and Tater Tots
The food was very good and we enjoyed our meal.
