Rhubarb Pear FroYo

Next experiment with the ice cream maker.

I have 250 g of Greek yogurt sitting in my fridge, some fresh small stalks of rhubarb and some pears at home. Make a compot, make a crumble or make Frozen Yogurt.

So Frozen Yogurt is was, a new opportunity to check the new machine.

I cut the rhubarb in 10 cm pieces, put it on a baking sheet with some brown sugar and chucked it into the oven at 180 C fan for 20min.

I used half a lemon, juiced it into a small sauce pan and added water, peeled and cut 3 pears and put the bite size pieces into the lemon water. A good dose of brown sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla paste and bring it to a boil, when it cooks, cut off the heat and let it sit until it is cooled down completely. In the meantime when the rhubarb is done, just add it to the pears.

Put that with the yogurt into a blender, use only as much liquid so you become a smooth creamy liquid, let it cool down and start of freeze it in the machine.
