Super easy snack and no need to buy a bag at a grocery store. Make it fresh yourself and decide, eat it sweet or eat it salty.
Finding a bag at a grocery store is very difficult here, so making this kind of popcorn will be the solution for all Matcha lovers. I love the deep Matcha tea, but also the creamy Matcha latte. My popcorn went into the sweet latte direction. I had a little milk powder from a dessert recipe left over and that mixed with the green goodness and some vanilla sugar made it a blast.
recipe for a bowl:
1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 cup popcorn kernels
2 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp milk powder or use icing suger
1/2 package vanilla sugar
Use a big pot and heat up the coconut oil on high temperature.
Put the kernels in and close the lid and reduce the heat to medium.
Shake the pot and let it pop completely.
Mix sugar and milk powder and add to the popcorn and sprinkle the Matcha on top.
Shake well and combine and serve.
