Pasta Salad - Retro Recipe

This pasta salad was served at the BBQ. It is so 70s and 80s.


It brought me back to the days my Mom made it. I prepared it when I started cooking. But I never thought I will eat it again in 2018.

It is fast to prepare if you have the long life shelved goods. The only fresh ingredients you need to buy are the sausage and the egg.

Recipe:
200 g small pasta
1 can 280 g mixed peas and carrots
4 gherkins
1 hard boiled egg
200 g ring bologna or wieners
Miracle whip

Cook the pasta and drain it and cool it down under running water.
Drain the canned pea/carrots and slice the sausage. Boil the egg, cool it down and chop it up.
