A Turkish side dish with walnut topping.
YT Beryl Shereshewsky posted a carrot episode. The Turkish salad lookef great and all ingredients were at home. Nothing better then to try it the next day. The new hack to grate the carrots on the now laying down box grater was used and it makes grating so much better this way.
Just mixing the carrots with Greek yogurt, raw garlic and some seasoning was easy. The walnuts went in a small pot with boiling water to cook for 5 min. Drained and the same pot used to heat up a piece of butter with paprika powder and the added walnuts.
This went on top of the carrot salad with some parsley. Done and ready to serve.
Ingredients:
4 medium carrots
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
1 grated garlic clove
Salt and pepper
40 g walnuts
40 g butter
1 tsp paprika
Parsley
