Not every night I need to go out to a restaurant. All 3 mayor convienience stores like 7/11, FamilyMart and Lawson provide enough food to have a great dinner in your own hotel room.
Hot food is possible food too. Pack what you want to eat into the shopping basket. At the checkout counter ask the clerk to heat it up in the microwave. You get it seperately packed with plastic cutlery or chopsticks.
I bought garlic spaghetti with sausages and bacon. The whole room smelled of garlic, so lovely.
A can of Sapporo beer and some fruit cocktail finished the dinner.
