In my hometown we have a restaurant that has seasonal or local specialities and changes the main menu according to it. Sometimes it is just a week or a couple of days. Like geese served a Saint Martin in November.
Restaurant Bölle is the name of the place.
This 5 weeks they have the theme of the northern most German island Sylt. I was there last September fir a week and was curious what was in the menu. The catch phrase is:
From Dike and Sea.
I ordered a salad with pike perch, cod, salmon and prawns wrapped in potato curls.
The prawns were very juicy and tasted great. The other pieces of fish were good, only the salmon was on the overcooked side.
But as a whole plate, dinner was good.
My friends were not so curious about Sylt and had pizza and burger
Both dishes were good
