The village of Nonrod has 102 inhabitants and one restaurant : Zum Rodenstein.
On a beautiful Saturday with 24 C temperatures, it was great to meet with retired coworkers, I haven't seen for 4 years. The get togethers are getting more and more difficult. Some of them are over 80 years old now.
The restaurant had a nice outdoor seating area overlooking sheep pastures and a green hill where a parasgliding school was waiting for some wind to get them in the air. It was great to watch while we talked and waited for our food.
The portion size reminded me a lot of American Diner plates. Too much food. Lots of us ladies took some of our food home with us.
We all started with a mixed lettuce. Then our food arrived.
