This is the 3rd recipe from the Icelandic food magazine issue.
A very soft kind of fish with fresh Italian ingredients and a surprising addition to finish the dish.
recipe for one package:
4 cherry tomatoes
a couple of basil leaves
1/2 hard boiled egg
1 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 bit of chives
salt and pepper
1 tbsp white wine
1 tbsp rapeseed oil
Preheat the oven 180 C
Clean the plaice, snip off the outside thin membrane and take off the skin.
Season with salt and pepper.
Use baking paper and double it.
Fold the plaice in half and put that in the middle of the baking paper.
Cut then tomatoes in half and add them with the basil on top then fish.
Add oil and wine and close the paper.
Bake for 8 minutes, open and add chopped hard boiled egg and chives.
Eat with some Mayonnaise.
