Easter Bunnies made with Knack & Back Dough

These blue rolled containers of different kinds of dough is very common here in all supermarkets. People used them often since 1972 on Sundays because bakeries were closed that day until about 15 years ago. Now you can get fresh baked goods on Sunday mornings.

The idea of ready made dough originated from Pillsbury. The "Dough Boy" may be known to older people.

I bought a can of Croissant dough a while ago. I wanted to fill them with something savoury. I went through the Internet for some inspiration and stumbled over these lovely bunnies.

Ingredients:

1 blue roll of Croissant dough

some raisins, some marshmallows, a bit of cream to brush over

Preheat the oven to 180 C fan.

Lift the dough from the roll and do not unroll it.

Take a knife and cut it into 8 slices. 4 of the slices cut through the middle again. These are the ears of the bunnies.

Stick them to the round slice and use the raisins for eyes and nose. Brush with cream and bake for12 min.

Cut up the marshmallows and place them as teeth on the faces. Done. Eat while fresh.
