I watched YT Channel Pro Home Cook with an other series of the use of an Air fryer.
A while ago he did a lot of different preparations of chicken wings. One is now my favourite. This time he used chicken breast and made chicken fingers or the home made version of Chicken McNuggets. He ate all versions with a big batch of honey mustard sauce. His sauce was on the very basic side.
It took me a couple of minutes to go through various internet recipes until I found the recipe for the Fast Food Chain Subway' s Honey Mustard Sauce.
Recipe for chicken fingers:
1 whole chicken breast
Salt, pepper, flour, 1 egg, 150 g cornflakes
Oil spray
Sauce:
4 tbsp mayo, 2 tsp garlic paste
3 tbsp medium hot mustard
1 tbsp runny honey, salt, pepper
Cut the breast in strips, season. Put the cornflakes in a mini chopper and make a coarse crump. Make a panning station and spray the strips before they go in the air fryer. Do not overcrowd it.
At 200 C for 12 min if you use a not preheated air fryer.
Mix the sauce.
I served it with Greek lemon rice.
