Bulgogi Udon Noodles Korean style

This is an easy recipe to cook in a short time if you do the prep work ahead.

Crunchy veg and a tasty sauce are the mayor components. Use soft packaged Udon noodles and you are even quicker. I used the dried noodles, they are tastier, but take longer to cook.

I found several recipes on Pinterest. I made my own version of it. This time I did not use any hot spices and the sauce was on the sweeter side. Add some red pepper flakes if you want it spicy.

Recipe for 3:

300 g beef mince, 1 tbsp veg oil, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 250 g Udon noodles, sesame seeds

1/2 red bell pepper, 1 carrot, 2 spring onions, 1 yellow onion, 60 g shiitake mushrooms,

Sauce:

6 cloves of garlic, 4 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp Mirin, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1/4 tsp black pepper

Prepare the sauce. Cut the veggies in strips. Add them together with the beef mince to a bowl. Stir well and cover and let it rest in the fridge.

Cook the Udon and drain under cold water.

In a wok heat up the oil and toss in the beef mix. Cook and stir often. It will take a couple of minutes. Add the udon and loosen them up in the sauce

Let them heat through and finish with toasted sesame seeds
