I am discovering a lot of lovely spots to eat in the countryside. This is a place outside a part of a small town where I've worked for several years, but never came close to this restaurant.
It is called Langfeldsmühle, Hergershausen.
It is an old mill at a small river and has in Summer a courtyard and a garden to sit in. But tables inside are enough beside fireplaces to have a great time in Winter.
The menu is not very large, just basic and seaonal stuff.
I decided on some freshly baked waffles with plum compote and whipped cream. It was delishious.
