These are the last veggies staying in my fridge from last Saturday's food haul. I prepared them as a late afternoon snack.
The stalks stay crunchy when you only cook them with a little liquid in the pan for a couple of minutes.
Ingredients:
3 bok choy, 6 cloves of garlic, 3 big slices of garlic, 1 shallot, chives
1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp rapeseed oil, 50 ml water, 2 tbsp light soy sauce, pepper
Slice ginger, shallot and garlic fine and start them in a pan with both kinds of oil until the garlic takes some color. Add the white stalks of the bok choy first. After 2 min, add water and close the lid and cook for 4 min.
Now add the greens and the soy sauce. Finish with chives.
