I found an old recipe last week of Sausage Rolls while checking for St. Patrick's Day food.
I haven' t had these in a long time. At some gas stations they sell some kind of puff pastry filled with some sausage meat or even Wieners. But they are inedible for my taste. I am looking forward to have some homemade. I did not skimp on the sausage meat and added sweet and savoury stuff.
Recipe:
1 rectangular sheet of puff pastry
400 g sausage meat, 30 g Gouda shredded,
4 tsp whole grain mustard, 6 tsp cranberry sauce, 1 egg
