Tasty Breakfast!
My BFF brought me a couple of quail eggs. One of her neighbors gets them from a breeder of quail hens in her family. When they have too much eggs, she gets a lot and distributes them in the village.
Not so many villagers like quail eggs, but my friends knows that I love them. That way some eggs or more find the way in to my fridge.
This is combination of fish and eggs is a fingerfood. Usually with a toothpick through both parts. The sauce on the bottom is just good quality balsamic vinegar.
A roasted baguette goes great with it.
Instead of herring use anchovis. But make sure to serve lots of water or beer to your friends afterwards.
