Eating out in the very industrial part of Weiterstadt, at Ristaurante Finestre. We were at "Country Living" in the morning and wanted something other than sweet baked goods.
The restaurant is in a large modern business block with lots of different companies. It was nearly fully booked. But we've got a window seat table.
Both of us ordered the in house made lemonade with rhubarb syrup. Very refreshing! For lunch we wonted the pulled pork focaccia. But that was not available today due to some problems the kitchen had to get pork meat.
They offered to use sliced roastbeef instead. Well there is a huge difference between both kinds of meats. The roastbeef was not so easy to chew and it was as slabs on the bread topped with mushrooms, zucchinis and peppers.
Try to eat this with your hands, no way. Try to eat this with cutlery, no f*** way. I disasembled everything and then had a go on it. The focaccia was a day old, I think. And the whole dish missed some kind of sauce.
