Chicken and red Cabbage oven baked

There are lazy Sundays when cooking is not very high on your list. Just use the oven to have a simple meal.



I bought two chicken legs on my Saturday grocery run to France. A large part of my red cabbage from my salad with rhubarb was still sitting on the counter.  

Cut off a big slice of cabbage, brush oil on the baking paper and toss some Piri Piri seasoning on top. Put the cabbage slice on it and repeat with oil and seasoning. A bit of pepper and one thing is done.

The chicken legs got the same treatment. Piri Piri seasoning goes great with lots of things.

Preheat the oven 180 C fan and bake for 35 min.  

Before serving, brush the cabbage with a little sweet chili sauce.
