Do not say yuck! And stop buying expensive "high protein" chocolate puddings at the supermarket.
When I first saw that Reel I thought WTF? But then I remembered my Moms velvety chocolate puddings everybody loved so much.
These puddings were enriched in the end with raw egg yolks and stiff egg whites. Why not use an easier way and have cooked eggs in the pudding.
It was a bit strange to take a pan with some butter, beat 3 eggs with a pinch of salt and scramble that dry in the pan.
Adding milk, agave syrup and a very heaped tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to the hot eggs in the blender looked a bit strange.
A couple of whirls in the Thermomix and voila:
Looked like chocolate pudding! It tasted like warm pudding. Now it is sitting in the fridge to chill.
Ingredients for 1:
3 eggs
1 tbsp butter
Pinch of salt
50 ml milk
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 very heaped tbsp cocoa powder
