Upside Down Pineapple and Serano Ham Pizza

I saw this on the Internet, where else!

It is not made with the usual pizza dough, but with puff pastry.

First I was a bit worried if I would be able to turn the hot pizza after it came out of the oven. It was a lot easier, not to worry.

First you have to decide which shape your pizza has. There are round and rectangular puff pastries to buy. I had a the second one and only took 2/3 off it.

Mark the baking paper if you do not have a good eye for sizes. Otherwise just brush the place on the baking paper with some olive oil. Then start with pineapple chunks and scrunched up ham. Add veggies, if you like.

Next step: some Italian seasoning and pepper and now 2 kinds of Mozzarella. First the grated dried one, then slices from a ball of fresh Mozzarella.

Now to the puff pastry. The piece cut off and then a couple of teaspoons of Calabrese pesto smeared on. Use tomato sauce or what ever yoz have on hand. Place that sauce side down on the ingredients and try to cover all of it. Press it down around the sides a bit.

Preheat the oven 220 C.

Bake for 20 min. Now comes the fun part. Put the baking paper on a board, put your plate on top and turn it over. Remove the baking paper catefully. Scrape sticky cheese directly back on the pizza.

Enjoy!
