Absolutely awesome on a hot day!
One of my favourite YT Beryl Shereshewsky made 5 recipes with watermelons. This drink caught my eye.
In the original recipe an Indian syrup was used -Rooh Atza. This is not available here in the city. But she told on video that it contains rose and pandan.
From my rose cooking class I have rose syrup at home. Pandan has a slight almond/vanilla taste to it. I grated some Tonka bean. The taste is similar.
In a blender mix watermelon chunks with some kind of milk, add 1 tbsp of rose syrup and grate a little Tonka bean on top. Mix again and serve over ice cubes. For decoration toss in some small pieces of watermelon.
