Quick Cauliflower Soup

There are Mondays that call for something comforting in the evening when you come home.
Computer problems at work did not make the workday any easier.


A look through kitchen showed me half a head of cauliflower and some spring onions. On the balcony in cold stood some broth in a jar and a tiny bit of leftover white wine.


I've thrown  the onions with a bit of garlic and a touch of oil into the Thermomix to saute it, then added everything else and a couple of spices. That was the first time that I remembered to take a photo.

What else will follow in the soup, I will decide after the ringing of the bell. After 15 min it was time.

I opened the fridge to get Le Presidente creme fraiche out, a chunk of Appenzeller MAXX, the intense version of Appenzeller cheese and a box of fine cut Buendner meat. Both are made in Switzerland.

So one simple cauliflower soup went up a couple of notches.
