Cruffins with Biscoff and Nutella

I found Croissant/ Danish ready made dough at the supermarket. That is made in Austria (with butter!). I have never seen that before and had to give it a try.

On their website "tante-fanny.at" I found some recipes. Danish pastries are common here in Germany, but no one knows them as Danish. This kind of dough is called Plunderteig.

In my cupboard was sitting an opened jar of Biscoff spread. Just enough for 3 pieces. The other 3 were filled with Nutella. I changed some ingredients and made it my own way.

Recipe for 6 cruffins:

1 ready made Tante Fanny Croissant/Plunderteig

1 tbsp butter to grease the muffin tin

3 heaped tbsp Biscoff spread

3 heaped tbsp Nutella

30 g almond slices

Topping:

50 g double cream

Vanilla extract

50 g milk chocolate

Hazelnut brittle

Preheat the oven 180 C.

Unroll the dough and cut it in 3 equal parts. Use a pizza cutter and slice these diagonally. Spread the Biscoff/Nutella on.  Put almond slices over the spread. Leave 1 cm on the edges. Roll up from the wide side and pinch the ends together.

Place in the buttered muffin tin and bake for 25 min. Take them out to cool a bit.

Heat up the cream with the vanilla and melt the chocolate in it. Brush on top of the cruffins and sprinkle with brittle.
