Wrap Mexican/Asian style

It is often a problem to use up ingredients from different continents.

I found a spice bag for Burrito Wraps a while ago at the supermarket. It sat with my other spices on a shelf. Yesterday I was looking for something else and found that spiceblend. I bought some ground veal meat and soft tacos today.

The veggies in my fridge drawer are plentiful. I used up some Asian long beans, coriander. Together with red long peppers, spring onions and a good amount of garlic. Some Baked Beans went in too.

The ground veal meat was a new variety at the new supermarket. Packed at 250 g was a nice size. They still get more and more products but are still constantly changing the isles. I am still in the lookout for a couple of items there.

Ingredients:

250 g ground veal

1 tbsp oil

2 spring onions, 3 long Asian beans, 2 red long peppers, 2 celery stalks, coriander

1/2 can baked beans

1 sachet Burrito seasoning, salt and pepper

100 ml water, 50 ml Noilly Prat

4 tbsp sour cream, grated Emmenthal and Cheddar cheese

40 g mung bean noodles, soaked

Heat up some oil in a wide pan and start with the onions, then add the veggies, except the peppers. After that the veal. Crumble it and let it cook. At the peppers and the seasoning mix. Water and Noilly Prat next. Check the seasoning and add more salt, pepper or chili. Cook for 10 min. Add the baked beans to heat through.

Microwave a wrap and place some noodles in the middle. Top with the meat mix, fresh coriander, cheese and sour cream and wrap.
