I went down to my freezer in the basement and checked my bags there. I took a bowl with me down and took some mussles and tiger prawns and a small freezer bag of tomato sauce back up.
The first 2025 tomatoes been picked today behind the house and I knew that the next tomato sauce season will soon begin.
I had some bits and pieces of veggies. They went well with the seafood. Small Farafalle Pasta was the best to go with the thick sauce.
Using up some part of a zucchini, a bit of leek and a green onion together with the tomatoes made a great base. Next came tiger prawns and mussels. They only needed 3 minutes in the pan.
I defrosted the tomato sauce in the microwave and added it hot to the veggie seadfood pan.
The pasta went in with a quarter cup of pasta water.
No Parmesan and no garlic was used. Just some seafood seasoning for the prawns.
