Prawn Toast Squares Korean Style

This food is just awesome!



The You Tubers Aaron and Claire made it. That was an recipe for the Air Fryer. Usually it is served in Korean restaurants as an appetizer, but deep fried. The price is steep there.



It is important to use raw prawns. Aaron tells in the video never to use cooked frozen shrimp. Only if you like to eat an erazer on a piece of bread. After I made the toast, I can assure you, he is right.



Ingredients:

20 defrosted raw prawns,

8 toast slices

2 tbps potato starch, 1 spring onion

1/ 2 tsp Garlic granulate, salt, pepper

1 egg white, spray oil



Chop the prawns. Make them fine if you like a creamier spread. I chopped them rougher to get more bite on the toast. Mix all together.



Cut off the crust from the toast. Cut into 4 pieces. Place a good tablespoon mix on top. Put a second piece of bread on top. Set into the air fryer. Spray with oil.



Bake at 180 C for 7 min, turn and spray with oil again and bake 3 more min.

I used sweet chili sauce for dipping.
